Description
Tried shortening this alternate Bad End story, but it got a bit convoluted to make all the pieces work with canon, so left it out. Implication tends to be more fun anyway. But if you want to read it:
________________________________________
Back on Namek, Captain Ginyu, in Bulma's body, had to make a desperate manuever - a modified and unperfected Bodyswap attack to steal power and transmogrify his host body back into his natural Ginyu body. When Bulma, in a powerless frog body, got in the way, the unintended result was that he sucked in all of Bulma's memories, temporarily forgetting who he was, but both he and Bulma were still in their new bodies.
Back on Earth, his memory eventually returned, meshed with Bulma's own, including her scientific knowledge and memory of the Z Fighters. He aimed to integrate himself with the them to learn their secrets, and take them out from the inside. It would start with building a relationship with Vegeta, who he already knew well, and could manipulate.
She tried on the ring and thought, "It's only a matter of time..."
...Before forgetting who she was again, blinking it off, and wondering why she was putting rings on. Vegeta would never ask her. That was just silly.
Ginyu's memories never fully restored, and the new Bulma would sometimes wonder why her fashion sense wasn't as peppy as before, or why she had an odd desire to pose, but otherwise, led a pretty normal life.
The real Bulma would also live a normal life, for a pet frog in Capsule Corps, often left unfed due to the scatterbrains around her.
And they lived normally ever after.
